Dated March 10, 2006-

Today in New Paltz, NY, a 40 year man went into a Mobil station to get a tank of gas, and forgot to put the handle back before leaving. Mr. Peter Lugnutz, who is a race car driver in his spare time, said "I really just came to get an Ice Cream, but then I figured I might as well get some gas. As I was filling up I noticed that my windows were filthy, so I had to wash them, too. I guess I bit off more than I could chew and just got distracted." Mr. Lugnutz narrowly avoided arrest and indictment under New Paltz's Hose Protection Law (part of their Gay Marriage law), as authorities declined pressing charges citing the dumb look on the man's face.

OK, I take back the Iraqi comment from yesterday.

With regard to the hose left in my tank, I blame it all on little Petey in the back seat not stopping about wanting to get home to eat that fringin ice cream cone, he rushed me. He ended up eating it in the back seat of my car while I was filling out paper work for another 45 minutes after the incident......

Sy, Did you have to pay $500 bail too or is that just a New Paltz thing??
