New AIM Mycron Light lap timer out (updated)

It's evidently due shortly, and will be eventually replacing the old one. The big new features for it are a new updated modern look with computer download capability. It has track name memory etc.. too (I don't think the old one has that). It's still compatible with the old track transmitters etc.

Cool look. Only issue is that it's 2 1/2 inches tall. The beauty of the small unit most of us use now is that it's very short making it easy to mount on the windscreen.

Still, if you get one, I'd love to see it.

That's what I need, something to tell me how slow I am at NIGHT! Any chance in-car DVD is coming out, at least I could watch that instead of Craige passing me it Turn 1 @ LRP!!!

I got my lap timer a few months ago, and it's great. It fits perfectly on the windscreen of the R/T car using velcro or duct tape. Here are some shots of the unit:
