Anyone Want Older Bell Helmets?

I got these from Skip about 4 years ago, was going to use as test beds for helmet painting ideas - never did. If anyone wants one or both, let me know, no chrge, can bring to VIR or you can ship.
Good helmets, just older and banged up a bit (sounds like me )

I'll give it a week or so, then they are in the dumpster ......

I'd love one of 'em Doug... Are they both XL? Would prefer to have one that fits!

Re: Anyone Want Older Bell Helmets?

One marked XL, one no markings but felt like the same size when tried on. I have a large hat size and they were uncomfortably tight, so may fit you. Planning some vintage racing DD or just decorating the trophy room?

Call me, we'll go out wearing them....

so awesome. Perhaps next time everyone is at the track we should all go out wearing old helmets.....a bar crawl of sorts, should provide for lots of entertainment! And if anyone should fall, or stumble no worries the helmet will protect you. Road America might be the best location for this

Re: Anyone Want Older Bell Helmets?

A couple of friends and I onec drove around in an Expedition (there were 5 of us) all wearing full face helmets. Great fun! At a stop light my friend leaned out the window with the helmet on of course and asked the two lovely lades in the convertible next to us if they wanted to go to the bar. The look on their faces as the slowly realized he was only one of 5 jackasses in the truck wearing a helmet was priceless. Great stuff. Then we waved at people walking yelled and went home. We had plans of actually going somewhere with the helmets on but that never materialized.

If you still have that bicycle, maybe you should keep these helmets around.

Oh boy, I'd guess this has been done MANY times in Elkhart Lake. But, it's the perfect place to do it. No more than 3 (?) pubs in the village, all within a block of each other? Literally crawling distance. May not raise an eyebrow at Siebkin's. Start working up your story for the ELPD.

SOLD!

Duo, let's get together, next time you head north, stop by here.

Rich, I'll bring helmet to VIR, should be able to squeeze it in the MINI - also edited out your phone & email, trolls harvest that kind of info - use TJR email links / private messages in profiles, they are hidden

Doug,

Thanks for being nice to Rich - he's a Skippy newbie, his son's a hotshoe, and he's one of my sponsors. Gotta take care of him.

actually Jim, I was just posting this addition to the thread;

Rich, I should have mentioned, if you need the helmet before VIR I'd be happy to ship it to you, email me if you want to discuss.

cdh
and Jim, I still want to race you for that Timex, 24 minute race, ok?
