Great job putting that together Kelly. Very impressive list. Almost hard to find a team without a Skippy driver. Thumbs up to all the alums.

If we really want to make work for Kelly ask for the list of Skippy drivers in the Continental Series race before the Rolex 24 that includes names like Snyder and Strelzoff.

...Oh you're not even funny, Pat. I'm gonna hunt you down for that one. lol *evil laugh*
....I had to look up each person individually in our system. Not fun. lol Escpecially when there were cases of seven people with the same name!

Re: 59 Skip Barber Alum at Rolex24
We're having a big time snow day here in Manhattan... 19 inches of snow. Public transit shut down this morning. Big dig out all day long. They never close the public schools and they were closed today... Should have told me... I could have helped. (He he)

Re: 59 Skip Barber Alum at Rolex24
Alright... By popular demand, we've decided to do a Skip Barber Racing School alumni/Continental entry list as well, but because of all the manual labor of data entry, it will take hours if I do it on my own. With all the other work here in the office I simply cannot make the time to do this on my own. So I need your help! I already formatted the list to match the previous one I did, and I highlighted drivers I knew off the top of my head that have done SBRS programs or events. If you guys could go through the list (like you did last time--which was a huge help) and point out drivers I missed, that would be awesome! Most of you have been with the company longer than I have, and I have no doubt you have a wealth of information for me!
Have at it!

There are many here I don't know but at first glance Al Carter jumps out on line 45 in GS. Thanks Kelly.

ST 25: Tom Long
ST 66: AJ Riley
ST 65: Lyonel Kent, Chris Brown
GS 79: Seth Thomas
GS 6: Jeff Bucknum
Charles Espenlaub (GS 48), Ryan Eversley (ST 75), and Guy Cosmo (GS 83) were Panoz instructors. Some of those guys (like Joe Foster) instructed for SB after Skip bought out Panoz racing school. You'd have to check w/ Todd to find out which of them did.
Charles Putman (GS 48) may have done a couple of MX-5 events. You'd have to check.

Re: 59 Skip Barber Alum at Rolex24
Anyone else having trouble with Grand Am's live timing/scoring? It won't load on the PC or the Mac for me. I just get the frame and background, but none of the drivers' names or any of the stats on the right come up. All I get is Track Status: Waiting.

Happened to me too, but I'm on the PC in the school's duty office, and perhaps there are some blocks posted on this machine. Have not tried at home. Will do so when I get off duty tonight (after 10:30 pm).

Re: 59 Skip Barber Alum at Rolex24
Less than 3 hours to go and Mark Patterson's grand master Shank racing DP car with Mark Blundell and Martin Brundle is p3 overall.
Ricky Taylor is P6 in the Sun Trust DP
Spencer Pumpelly is leading the GT class going for his second Rolex watch in a TRG Porsche that he reports feels like it's falling apart.
John Edwards is in 7th place in GT in his SpeedSource Mazda.
Ron Yarab is in 9th place in his TRG Porsche.
Peter Ludwig is in 11th place in GT in his Muehlner Porsche.
Good luck boys...

And don't forget John Potter's car, which is currently 4th in the GT class.

Absolutely, in only his second year of Rolex racing. Own car, own team, no help from TRG.
Also Joe Foster, who scored the dream ride of his life driving for Patrick Dempsey, looking at podium in P3 GT. Joe was present for my epic night at KC's at mid-O.
