if you can't beat 'em, butt 'em
Anybody else watch Jason Holehouse flow from wayback to 5th in the big event on Saturday before getting hammered going into Big Bend?
It was pretty to watch until then. I know the feeling, Jason.

Re: if you can't beat 'em, butt 'em
Qualifying was rained out so instead of starting near the front where he would have qualified he had to start 27th. Didn't see it but was told someone spun him on the opening lap further handicapping him but within a couple of laps he was back up to 18th, then 17th, then 16th when an FCY brought the field together. More foreward progress occurred after two more FCY's and Jason moved all the way to 4th or 5th. Some of that foreward progress occurred as others pitted for fuel and tires giving him track position but less grippy rubber. My understanding was that he came in for gas and tires which gave back some track position but gave him competitive lap times again when there was another FCY. It was after that FCY start that he was given the chrome horn into big bend that ended his day. He had the only yellow car in the field making him very easy to pick out of the crowd. His relentless forward progress was a thing of beauty and typically Jason.
Frustrating end to a notable effort.

Yes it was... Would have been cruel and unusual punishment to get those big heavy cars stopped and turned through either of the new turns.
