Lime Rock -- August 2010

Road Atlanta has barely cooled down from the hot racing this past weekend, but we need to keep eyes up. What lies ahead is another weekend at Lime Rock (with the Uphill Chicane and Classic West Bend). Who will be there?

Re: Lime Rock -- August 2010

I am running both the MX-5s AND the formula cars that weekend.

I haven't bent a wing yet this year and I want to keep my streak alive. Gotta have goals.

Jim, since you have whammied yourself with this post, may I suggest this - when you arrive at the track, go directly to the parts trailer, find a wing, stomp on it till it bends, then swipe your credit card. Get it out of the way off track, appease the racing gods, this will save you lost positions on track

See ya there, very cool you're doing both series, I assume you are doubling in each right?

So true. Would save pain and aggravation and would allow me to spend more time programming the stations on the radio in the MX5s.

You'll have to supply your own antennae though as they tend to fall off when the cars are inverted.

Re: Lime Rock -- August 2010

For anyone wondering what the family can do while you're out racing, the annual Clothesline Fair is happening on the Sharon green (arts, crafts, food, book sale), and the annual Habitat for Humanity tag sale is happening in the Hotchkiss gym. If you're staying at the Interlaken, there are signs advertising both events at the four corners at Hotchkiss.

DAMN YOU.

I wanted to hang and talk about your fun adventures in the CTC - They actually showed a lot of your 9 car at the last race -

I hope you have a blast.
