2 Day High Performance Fleet?

Anyone know what cars they are using in Lime Rock for their 2 Day High Performance Driving School.
We are signed up for the August 15th class.

Thanks for any info!

Currently, I believe it is a mix of Reliant Robins, Morris Minors, Tata Nanos and one Trabant (see photo). You should definitely request the Trabby.

The HP cars are currently Lexus IS-F's, Porsche's, and Mazda Speed 3's.

Re: 2 Day High Performance Fleet?

DalyDuo is right, they've recently upgraded the fleet. Each make of car is used for a specialized type of skill-building.

The Lexus is used for accident avoidance (or not).

The Porsche is used to improve your ability to maneuver at high speed while avoiding distractions (or not).

The Mazda is used on the wet skid pad (sometimes wetter than other times).

You are really going to enjoy this if they have any cars left.

I always volunteer for the Porsche exercise...unless I have to right-seat.

Re: 2 Day High Performance Fleet?

Awesome class! Thanks for all the responses, we used the RX8's on the skid pad, the Porsche's, Lexus and RX8 on the autocross Lexus and Porsche's for the braking and heel toe exercises. On track Porsche's and my new favorite performance sedan the Lexus IS F! Our instructors were the best of the best: Phil Lombardi, Bob Green, Stephan Bastrzycki, Rick DiIorio and Rick Pocock. If any of you are on the forum I think I speak for everyone in the class THANK YOU!
