That's exactly the communication I was referring to, DD. Now, do you have any info as to whether Monday is the only day that the car will be there, and also, is that the 2008 model? Looks like it!
It will be an '04 rolling chassis with no motor and '08 paint. Body cladding makes the motor irrelevant. It's being brought in Monday afternoon for a big corporate event on Tuesday.
The E-mail says "One Night Only" because it will only be there for public viewing on Monday night with an armed guard and a strict "no sitting in the car" rule. Bring your camera but not your helmet.
It's available for public viewing Monday night, remains for the strictly private corporate event on Tuesday and then is quickly rolled away.
Suspect an '04 will be exotic enough for most. A few less aerodynamic do-dads and winglets than the real '08 but a pretty neat piece nonetheless.
An F1 car of any modern vintage is both sophisticated and rare enough that when the opportunity for viewing presents itself, you hate to miss it.
Don't know the history of the car.
