Talking Racers dream

For all those doing Miata weekend and all other Skippy racers. Here is a Godsend, for those who race with your brain off (you know you do!) why switch it on to cover for you. Let this do the work: http://reverendsgarage.net/excuse_generator.php

That's cool. It's missing my favorite, though:

The car was pushy loosey all over the place!

Re: Racers dream

The instructors always tell me my car is DOT. I would have thought that HP would be more important than torque.

That might of been me Mike at LRP. Almost killed myself in the uphill in that friggig car. It was a monster to handle. After 10 laps my best time was a mid 1:02 ( I ran a 59.12 in my ole lucky #7 the same day). Jason took it out for a shakedown after my run and parked it after one lap when he almost bit it in the downhill, he held a pretty decent slide from turn in all the way to track out! Not sure if the left rear tire was shot or something was meesed up with the suspension, I think they mentioned they recently changed a shock.

The only thing worth while in that computer session was seeing MHP's reaction when he saw my steering input graph during the triple tank slapper in the uphill.

Re: Racers dream

I remember that! He was amazed by the graph!

No, it wasn't you. I know who it was. The guy was running damn near 1:07's... and they put him into a qualifying session where 7 of us were doing 58.6 or better. Not his fault, by the way!

Yikes....
