Exclamation Who can come up with some interesting threads on Technique?

I'm surprised that we get so few discussions going about technique, race craft, etc. I think you guys really enjoy this board and get a lot out of it, but I think it can be infinitely better if we can make the information here deeper in regards to driving and racing. We have tons of fantastic drivers here to help out, plus we've got lots of Skippy instructors willing to jump in, too.

So let's get the ball rolling!

Thanks, Rosso. Great question. I'm splitting it off into its own thread.

C'mon guys, lets see some more.

Re: Who can come up with some interesting threads on Technique?

It appears that my first post on this thread disappeared.
It had to do with re-passing.
I'll restate it.

Brake earlier and lighter.
Go deep.
Stay wide to the outside.
Turn in under the passing car.
Early throttle, late apex.

OOPS! Just found my earlier post under a thread titled 'How do you set up for a re-pass'
Would enjoy some feedback.

It didn't disappear. We made a new thread out of it, which you can find here:

Re: Who can come up with some interesting threads on Technique?

Guys, you're coming up with great questions, thanks!

But please post new questions/topics as new threads, not as replies to this thread.

I've gone ahead and moved all new thread ideas into their own threads.

To start a new technique related thread, click here:
