Reminder: SBRS MAZDASPEED Pro Challenge

I coud not find a thread on this already so I hope I'm not repeating anything. If so, do kindly ignore me.

"Skip Barber Racing School is pleased to announce in conjunction with MAZDA the 2012 SCCA Pro-Racing Playboy Mazda MX-5 Cup schedule. Skip Barber Racing School will race in a separate class within the 2012 SCCA Pro-Racing Playboy MAZDA MX-5 Cup.

This new class provides another step in the MAZDASPEED Motorsports Development Ladder for racers aiming to race professionally in sports cars. Additionally, the 2012 SCCA Pro-Racing Playboy Mazda MX-5 Cup will expand as well as add substantial depth to the fields with the addition of the SBRS class.

Skip Barber Racing School has run the MAZDASPEED Challenge race series since 2007 for Mazda MX-5 Cup race cars. In 2011 SBRS ran a fleet of cars at the Homestead and Road Atlanta MX-5 Cup races at Petit Le Mans with encouraging feedback.

The 2012 race season will kick off at Sebring International Raceway, joining the festivities of the renowned 12 Hours of Sebring. From there, racers will contend on some of North America's best road courses: Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, Virginia International Raceway, Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Road America, Road Atlanta, and Mosport International Raceway.

With the addition of the Skip Barber Racing School class, SBRS will provide an arrive-and-drive race program with coaching to customers who want to race at a higher level with the professionals without the required investment in capital and other resources to establish their own team.

The champion of the Skip Barber Racing School class will receive a scholarship to compete in a full season of the Mazda MX5 Playboy Cup Series for 2013. The second place winner will receive a full season in Skip Barber Racing School MAZDASPEED Pro Challenge and the third-place winner will receive a scholarship for half a season in the Skip Barber Racing School MAZDASPEED Pro Challenge."

All that being said the cost for a full season (11 races - 8 events) is $50,000.
That cost includes:
*Test Day
*In car video/data feedback
*Tires
*Fuel
*Custom Skip Barber Racing School suit provided by K1 Racing Gear
*Television exposure
*Media Exposure
*Name decaled onto car
*All entry fees
(Damage liability is not included but can be purchase separately for the standard $200/day)
If you are interested, you must fill out an application which can be found here: http://www.skipbarber.com/mazdaPROchallenge.asp
