Cart To Sebring ?
Champ Car is going to Sebring with the ALMS next year in March for their season opener.
That is what Robin Miller just said.... Can't wait.

Re: Cart To Sebring ?
that would be fun to be there and watch, but probably bad for cart as they will most likely not be the main event. if that's true, that's pretty said. i'm all for combining series weekends to make super weekends, but i dont think cart and alms together is good for cart in the long run as they will be relinquishing themselves to a lower level.
however, if this is true, regardless of what i said above, "AWESOME". so we'll see the sebring 12 hour, a cart race, scca world challenge all in the same weekend. i'm def going to that.

Re: Cart To Sebring ?
I'm glad I'm prepaid for a trackside room at the Chateau Elan for next year.

I see what you mean about CART running at Sebring, but at other venues, such as Long Beach, the ALMS would clearly be playing second fiddle to CART. I don't know how it would play out at traditional CART tracks which have been recently abandoned, but I know if they both ran at Laguna together I'd drive up for it and I for one would be more excited about the CART race.

Re: Cart To Sebring ?
Sittin' pretty JP. That's a wonderful spot to have a room.
I think its great for ALMS & CART to combine race events. See what happens. It may turn out great for both. It's smart in a big venue like Sebring that will handle a lot of people. The word entertainment is used more and more in reference to professional racing and if they draw a crowd and everyone makes money, it will be considered very entertaining. If it doesn't, they won't do it again. It's pretty simple economics.

Matt, do you think the Skippy Nationals are going to make the calendar? If yes, let's do it. JP, will you join us?

Re: Cart To Sebring ?
I hope the Skippy Nationals race there again. I did race the Skippy Nationals there the first time they did it. Two seasons ago. Its a blast. Highly recomended.
I believe I'll be racing the Pro FM again there. It has been the season opener for us as well.
