Re: Steve & Dom

How about giving up that First Place trophy you got? Otherwise you're going with them!

I think once someone wins a Sportsman race, they should be kicked right out of there....

Same goes for Expert group guys. RIGHT Charlie25?

Re: Steve & Dom

Maybe the move up should be the based onthe number of wins as my one does not come close to steves and Doms totals

The above said I Do think the best way is based on lap times

Re: Steve & Dom

Exactly what is the definition of an "old man"? Should I be insulted by the term?

Re: Steve & Dom

HEY OLDMAN!... (I'll wait while you turn up your hearing aid) Guess the short term memory ain't what it used to be, eh?... (Come on over and have a seat in my Recaro rocking chair over here... Help yourself to some Geritol.) Now tell me, why you would possibly be offended by the term "old men" when you're using "OLDMAN" as your screen name! (Only kidding:-)

I think it's much more fun being an old man (Grand Master) racer because there are so many more opportunities to exceed expectations. Any small achievement at our age is enthusiastically applauded, whereas anything short of a professional career, for the young whippersnapper crowd, may be viewed as not measuring up. We get to have the unencumbered thrill of competitive racing without the pressures of actually having to make a living at it. What could be better?

What's your definition of "Old Man" ? :-)

Re: Steve & Dom

Very observant of you Michael... Er... um... why... no... No, it's not actually "stolen" at all. In fact a tall well educated man named Aaron Hollander... (Yeah, that's the ticket...) insisted that I take it home and wear it to spark my auto-racing writing mojo, while on the TJR site.

It also comes in handy when my new girlfriend Cindi-Lou, aka Tawny, (Whom I've slept with...) wants to play "The masked red-headed racing stranger." in my hot tub.

In truth, I told my CSR I was borrowing the suit for the kids Halloween event. They know it's coming back.

... And BTW thanks for causing my 100th post!
