2004 Italian GP @ Monza - Results and Standings

[SIZE=5]What a putz I am. I typed RS instead of RB. Had it all planned. A whole lotta points down the drain.

So we have a pair of winners here (not unlike the ones in 'pick me a winnner'), ray's royce and mjamok. Why don't you two get together and see if you can come up with something at least resembling a decent review...

Please check your picks by clicking here, which will also give you the full spreadsheet- click here There are a bunch of pages on the spreadsheet - you can navigate through them by clicking on the tabs at the bottom of the page.

Why thank you Mo...

As for the recap, I look at it this way... yes, both Ray and I scored 36 points. But he went from 11th to 8th, and I went from 12th to , well, 12th!

Besides, I had my say at 10am after the race. Or did you miss it?

Take it away Ray!

p.s. CMAC... you let me down! Pick it up girlfriend!!

I just wasted 10 minutes...

I thought it might be interesting to drop our two lowest scores, ala Skip Barber.

Not much changes.

MacD gets closer to Mo.
Birkmaniac pulls further ahead of JJ and closes in on Jimal.
Ray further closes the gap to sis.
CMAC is the only player to improve... breaking her tie w/ PCW to gain a whopping 1 point advantage.
And, sadly, though perhaps predictably, I gain no ground on anyone!

But wait...!

WHAT IF WE DROP 3 SCORES?!

MacD takes the lead over Oh-Mo!
Craige passes Syonara!
Birpyourmama catches Jimalltiedup!
Ray surpasses Julia... poor Julia!!
CMAC bests Pork Chop... bested by a woman again?!
Feelmypeach (whatever the hell that means) passes both CMAC and PCW!!
And I, sadly, though perhaps predictably, gain no ground on anyone

Ok... what if we...

Take the square root of the reciprocal of everybody's high score. Subtract the f(x) of your birthday... and then...

Aww shucks forget it.

Just to get a rise out of him, should I roll back MJ's post total to 50? I can do that, you know.

Rolling my points back to 50...

You could do that, though sadly, and perhaps predictably, I would lose no ground to anyone!

I wasn't talking about POINTS totals, I was talking about POSTS. You're at 190 or so.... Wanna go back to 50?

Actually, MASTERS & JOHNSON determined that the other part of the body that most highly correlates to the one you're referring to is the hand.

(I would pay a million dollars to see the first thing each of you did after reading this. BTW did I ever tell you I used a goalie glove as my first base mit in high school)

Although if you had done a more comprehensive google search last week you may have come across that Juicy tidbit!

BTW, Mo, does that answer your question??

Re: 2004 Italian GP @ Monza - Results and Standings

Hi guys,

I was away for the past few days, sorry for the late response. In terms of giving a comentary, i did not see the race, as i was in a place where NO TV, NO RACE, NO INTERNET.................i was not in Mars, rather Zambia - although i thought i was on Mars. I should do this more often, as it appears i have done quite well. So giving some blind commentary, i just want to say that it is nice to be on top, although i have to question my skills when i am on the podium with MIKE!!! I mean really!!! the only thing i can say, is at least he has had a podium. Mike how did it feel!!>>???

Anyways, i still dont know the results, other than i still have the boys in red lined up for the China, and ready to move up a couple of more places......

MPOWA is looking really good, although he does not finish on the finish line, he usually finds a ditch or another car to take out, so we can safely count him out!!!!!!

As for SY, i see he is still licking wounds from HUngary and Belguim!

JCraige and Temas had a bad "pit stop" to position themsleves in the middle of the pack, i suppose giving the likes of myself a chance to at least finish above the halfway mark.

As for JuicyJules, your focus should be on that DUDE just ahead of you (AKA your SY). As for the bottom four -( i am out of that race!!!) there should be a feeding frenzy going on the at the end. Although, if i were a betting man, i would have my ENTIRE fortune on Mike to do the job......way to go mike.

So all in all, it looks like Macdod to take the final furlong in style.

Still 3 races to go, and they should be really good, since we are all doing so WELLLLLLLL

Re: 2004 Italian GP @ Monza - Results and Standings

Ray.. let us not pat ourselves on the back to hard for doing well this week. Any idiot can pick MSRBF and score 36 points. To wit....

I can't believe you have another red set though.. that sucks for me as I have "shot my red load" (now there is a graphic for ya!)

Your entire fortune, huh. I hear that is millions and millions.... but what is it worth in American dollars? I AM a betting man, but this is one that even I am not fool enough to take!

MJA - you have to stop with all of these "below your belt" comments - you might give people the impression that you are over compensating for something (true, you are in last position here). I believe the more appropriate venue would be "trash talk"! Besides, it is not polite in front of the gals
