Going Racing!

I booked my first race today! I'll be at the lapping, practice and race days for rounds 3 and 4 of the Winter Series in Sebring. I caught the 60 day cutoff for a 7.5% discount and I also received 20% off the lapping and practice days for being a first time racer. I'm beyond excited! And now begins the longest 60 days of my life

That's great, and you're going to have fun, fun, fun. We'll stop by and say hello as we're down there for the winter.

40 days to go until Lapping Day 1! If anyone has any advice for the first time Skippy Series racer, I'll be grateful for it.

Re: Going Racing!

I predict one of the greatest weekends of your life.

If you're not doing it already I'd encourage regular exercise between now and then to make the experience even more enjoyable.

Keep us posted!

Already on it Pat. Running 5k 3 days per week and DDP Yoga 3 days per week with an off day on the weekend. Will you be racing at Sebring?

Re: Going Racing!

Outstanding! You'll be in the right place when you step in the car.

I won't be at Sebring. Going to Roebling Road for a couple of track days in spec Miatas with Jim Pace and then to Sonoma to drive the SimRaceway F3 downforce cars. Full dance card. :-)

Awesome! I follow SimRaceway on Facebook and have been drooling over those F3's for a couple of years. Can't wait to hear about it!
