Sy can't really shut down the site for maintenance before he's made his own picks can he?

Re: Round #2 of the '06 Fantasy F1 Competition - Picks are due Friday Mar 17 1:00AM

I just drove home from a week on the road, dropped my bags and ran to the computer. I'd set my watch to GPS two days ago and knew I was in my last minute. Too close though. Kinda like changing a gearbox while everyone else is already on the grid.

Ah, the thrill of a Mission Impossible full body slide just under those rapidly closing unrelenting garage doors of time. We love drama.

Re: Round #2 of the '06 Fantasy F1 Competition - Picks are due Friday Mar 17 1:00AM

Sometimes you have your graceful last second full body Mission Impossible slide under those unrelenting garage doors of time...
And sometimes you wake up shivering with blood shot eyes, dry mouth, a bit of drool and a throbbing hang-over on the wrong side of those unrelenting doors.

Sorry Chris. St. Patrick has left the building.

(My literary characterization is just that and no reflection on Chris or his rough treatment by St. Patrick.)

Well, it was worth a try...I'll take my self imposed handicap and come back for Australia.

There's really not that much of a handicap... Your picks from last week automatically transfer over. So you may still do pretty well. It becomes more of a penalty as we go deeper into the season, as its more likely that some of your 'transferred picks' go over the limit (6 picks per driver/team), and can get zero points for that particular pick.

do you get any points potential for picking wurz? i wasn't aware that testers or friday drivers gave you any points so why pick them? i know that pizzonia, wurz and de la rosa and doornbos drove last year but aren't driving this year.

ok thanks doug. i just assumed after seeing he had picked wurz that other 3rd drivers were listed as well. he just made a mistake with picking an ineligible driver. sorry to bother you, i should have read that page again.

Re: Round #2 of the '06 Fantasy F1 Competition - Picks are due Friday Mar 17 1:00AM

And the winners are... DalyDuo, Juicy Jules and Fitilehpeach! Fitilehpeach, with a position jump of THIRTEEN places, and also DalyDuo, who was supposed to do the last one but didn't (his keyboard broke from over use) have review honors. Boys, when you do your review, please don't forget to talk about the member who dropped 18 positions.

Here are the full results for this weekend's race:
