White Plains/HPN

This may seem like an odd question, but for those who live in the area, you'll know what I'm talking about.

I'm trying to fly out of HPN (White Plains/Westchester Airport), but there is little to no parking at the airport, and the parking that is there is very expensive ($20+/day vs. $7/day if you fly out of Bradley/Hartford). In fact, the airport's website actually suggests you get a ride because of the parking situation.

What I'm wondering is does anyone have any ideas about where to park or secret places you know of to park (where they won't tow/ticket) nearby the airport? The idea was to find a free or relatively inexpensive lot/garage to park in, then get a taxi to the airport.

Thanks so much for any ideas. I'm hoping to fly next week, so the sooner the suggestions come in, the better.

Al, we're 20 minutes from the airport, max. Come park here, and one of us will probably be able to shuttle you back and forth. Call me on my cell to arrange.

They do spook you on the HPN site but I have always found a parking space in the garage. There have been times I sweated it a bit, but I always find a spot. You are right though, it is pricey

But since Sy if offering, you get free parking and karting fun!

I'm not sure who cheeky is but i'll give you a ride from gpny. If Sy gives you a ride, you only have a 20% chance of making it on time to the airport. I can give you almost a 50% chance of making it.
