As the reigning 2005 Fantasy F1 Champion
, I take great pleasure in welcoming you all back to take another shot at the “Fantasy Formula 1” game. It’s clear that there is no correlation between winning and knowledge of F1, evidenced by all you macho ‘F1 Expert’ boys thinking you would come away winners, and all you got was your butts kicked by a girl! (Hence the “Fantasy” component of the title.) In fact, the only 2 ladies in the game kept consistently higher positions throughout the season than anyone else.
So, this weekend marks the beginning of a new season, and in the spirit of one of my heros, Austin Powers, I would like to say.. “So long as people are still implementing ridiculous strategies while at the same time making controversial remarks without censorship in a consequence-free environment, we’ll all be sound as a pound!”
I welcome all the old players back and dare new players to come and play with us.
