Re: Russell new cars?
I recently spent a few days at Laguna and talked to a some of the instructors about the changes at Russell. According to them, the cars they are using are comparable to an Atlantic (yeah, I said the same thing) and a season should run you a cool $100 grand. So I am not sure they are really competing with the cheapskates, I mean us cost savey drivers that run with Skippy. Now of course these costs are an estimate and may be lower but that's the word I got from them, not that you should ever trust the West Coast Instructors (just kidding you guys, they are so sensitive). Anyway, for what it's worth. I don't get the sense that we will be seeing the R/T replacements anytime soon so hopefully Harsha can still race every race Skippy runs. Harsha, you should get some kind of award for most track time ever (I'm just jealous).
