Exclamation Please Help Us Make an Awesome Links / Resources Database

With the new Links and Downloads system we've installed, we've introduced a really great new resource mechanism for this site and our members. We've done a lot of work already filling it up with a good stock of Track Maps, Race Track websites, Videos, etc., but we'd love to get your help adding to what we've got. Plus, there are also a bunch of links (for racetracks, etc) we'd like you to help us make descriptions for. So we ask you to take some time and add in whatever you feel is relevant, and add some touches to what we've got in there now. We've got the following categories already setup and partly stocked:
Team Juicy Racing Videos
Track Maps & Van Around Videos
Race Track Websites
Skip Barber Race Series Standings & Documents
Links to Racing & Automobile Product Websites
If you've got something that doesn't fit, go ahead and make a new category. Also, I think it would be great to see some creative descriptions by our members put into some of the links we already have. You can do that by editing a current link. To see an example of a great one, just take a look at what Pat Daly did for the Tremblant track map link (scroll down to Mt. Tremblant - Aerial Map):

How to Use the Links and Downloads Manager - Add A Link

1) The first step is to click on the Stuff/Links button on the toolbar in the header on any TJR page, then click on the 'Add Link' button once the Links and Downloads Manager page comes up (you will only be able to do this if you're an established and active TJR member - contact me if you're not granted permission and want to contribute):

2) The next step is to enter the details of the link, page or file. You can upload a file if you wish, or you can just provide a link to another website. Just follow the directions:

3) When you're done entering the details, click on the submit button. If you've provided a link to another website, then you'll get the following error message. Go ahead and click on the 'Accept' button:

4) That's It!! Congrats! You just created your first link/upload.

How to Use the Links and Downloads Manager - Edit A Link

If you're just helping us snazz up a link, then follow these directions:

1) When you find the link you want to edit, click on the 'E' button as below (you will only be able to do this if you're an established and active TJR member - contact me if you're not granted permission and want to contribute):

2) Next, go ahead and edit the description field as below. Please take care not to edit or delete the link information indicated below, otherwise it will ruin the link:

3) That's it!!
