Holy crap Pat, I didn't realize it was such a serious shunt. You are very fortunate to escape with a concussion. That being said, hopefully you have a substantive treatment plan in place and a good neurologist monitoring your case. I will acquiesce to my learned friends in the medical profession as to their thoughts in this regard, however having just had a niece work through a concussion from an auto accident, I know the road to complete recovery can be lengthy (not trying to alarm you, I am just concerned).
