Re: Skip Barber National: Rnd 3&4 Virginia International Raceway

Thanks Paul! Here's the qual report for Round 4

Round 4: Scott Anderson Grabs Second Pole at
Virginia International Raceway

Danville, VA. (Apr. 30). Sophomore racer Scott Anderson earned his second California Scents pole of the season in the BFGoodrich/Skip Barber National presented by Mazda. Anderson will be leading the field to green tomorrow for Round 4 with championship points leader Brandon Newey starting second and MAZDASPEED Motorsports Development driver Trent Hindman in third.

Anderson held the fastest last time for the majority of the qualifying session, in which the rest of the field spread out, running in small groups and working the draft on the 3.27 mile, 20 turn road course. Round 4 will take place tomorrow morning, Sunday, May 1st. Session times are not time certain.

This afternoon, drivers will go green for Round 3 at Virginia International Raceway with Sebastian Ordonez leading the field. Both Ordonez and Anderson earn a championship point for winning the California Scents Pole Award.
