Here is why I think that is true. First, it is a medium length track which means that you get more lapping repetitions which is perfect for taking "small bites at the apple" as you work on pushing your skills. Second, they track is incredibly safe ( there just is not much to hit) which makes it, in my opinion, a great place to develop driving the high speed turns with a slip angle. Learning to do this on a more constricting track can be a little more difficult. Third, there are great places to learn and practice trail brake rotation because there are several 2nd and 3rd gear turns with extra asphalt.

Combine this with a beautiful facility and it makes a great package.

If you choose to go, let me know how you make out. Bill

Ps. There are some good you tube videos out on the net if you query skip barber NOLA

First of all Bill, I just read that you were the winner at Nola. Congratulations!
I actually visited and watched both races in Homestead this past January. There was a very fast
young kid who won all the races. Hopefully I'll participate next year.

It seems like you read my mind Bill. Those are exactly the things that I would like to work on.

Every book on racing that I've read stresses to perfect the high speed corners because
those are usually the corners that people are most scared to work on initially. NOLA would be
perfect without many walls or barriers to hit.

Trail brake rotation is precisely what I am looking to get better at. I've been debating whether to sign up for another 2 day advanced or one of the upcoming car control clinics.

Thanks again
