I've missed you at the track, buddy. Looking forward to your return. But take your time, listen to your body, don't push it. You'll know when it really feels right. That vertebrae needs to heal good and tight, and you need to strengthen your neck before you start applying big-time G-forces to it and exposing it to the risk of rapid deceleration. Try yoga-- it's done wonders for my neck and back, which were almost to the point of needing surgery. Long graded tonic contractions that stretch and strengthen, gradually over time increasing flexibility, strength, and range of motion while minimizing the risk of reinjury (as opposed to conventional weight-training resistance work on a machine).
