Where do most people stay when they do Laguna Seca events? I know there is a list but i'm sure there are favorites.

Sorry - just realized I posted this in the wrong section.

TJA,
Several good options.

If you are traveling solo, the Baypark hotel Monterey is where Skip puts up the traveling staff.
Clean, reasonable, non-chain, family operated property with a decent happy hour. 15-20 minutes to track...

If significant other is in tow, then Best Western Beach resort in Seaside is freshly redone and puts you on the water cheap.
20 minutes to track.

Downtown Monterey, Pacific Grove and Carmel are great places to dine and tour but fairly expensive to stay.
That being said, I have snagged smoking off-season rates at the Tally-Ho Inn in Carmel. 30 minutes to track.

Great area all around. Pebble Beach,17 mile drive and PCH to Big Sur are worth the trip!

Enjoy,
SD

P.S. Make sure to dine at Baja Cantina in Carmel Valley. Gear head central...

I concur with SD ... I stayed at Bay Park a couple of times for SB schools and it was fine. Clean and reasonably priced.

Thanks. That's what I booked.
